Inspection Procedure
- READ VALUE OF INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR UNLOCK DETECTION SWITCH)
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door unlock detection switch.
Multiplex network front door ECU LH:
DATA LISTItem Measurement Item / Display (Range) Normal Condition Diagnostic Note LOCK POS SW Door unlock detection switch signal / ON or OFF ON: Door is unlocked
OFF: Door is locked- OK: "ON" (door is unlocked) appears on the screen.
NG: Go to step 3
OK: Go to Next Step
- Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door unlock detection switch.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (DOOR LOCK)
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the power door lock operates.
Multiplex network front door ECU LH:

OK: Door lock is locked / unlocked.-
NG: Go to step 4
OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU RH
- Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester to generate a control command, and then check that the power door lock operates.
- CHECK FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
- Disconnect the P10 ECU connector.
- Apply battery voltage to the P10 ECU connector and check operation of the door lock motor.
OK
MEASUREMENT CONDITION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTMeasurement Condition Specified Condition Battery positive (+) → 6 (A+)
Battery negative (-) → 5 (A-)Lock Battery positive (+) → 5 (A-)
Battery negative (-) → 6 (A+)Unlock
NG: Go to step 5
OK: Go to Next Step
- CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU RH
- Disconnect the P11 connector.
- Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition P11-1 (GND) - P11-6 (BDR) 10 to 14 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to Next Step
- INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH

- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock motor.
OK

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 1Unlock - Measure the resistance of the position switch.

NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH
OK: Go to Next Step
- Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock motor.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (PASSENGER DOOR ECU - MOTOR LOCK)
- Disconnect the D11 lock and P10 ECU connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition D11-1 - P10-6 (A+) Below 1 Ω D11-2 - P10-5 (A-) Below 1 Ω D11-3 - P10-20 (CPSE) Below 1 Ω D11-4 - P10-3 (LSW) Below 1 Ω
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU RH
