Cruise Control Main Switch: Removal: Removal

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:

    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 3 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 STEERING WHEEL COVER  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
  4. REMOVE STEERING PAD  . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 4
  5. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the 2 screws and switch.
