DTC C1337/37: Different Diameter Tire Malfunction: Description

The skid control ECU measures the speed of each wheel by receiving signals from the speed sensor. These signals are used for recognizing that all 4 wheels are operating properly. Therefore, all wheel signals must be equal.

DTC DETECTION CONDITION TABLE

DTC No. DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1337/37 When either of the following conditions is detected:
  • When the following occurs in three consecutive trips:
    • With a vehicle speed of 12.4 mph (20 km/h) or more, there is a difference in the average speed between the front wheels and rear wheels for 20 seconds or more.
  • Wheel speed sensor malfunction.
  • Tire size
  • Speed sensor
  • Speed sensor rotor
  • Speed sensor circuit
