Inspection Procedure

1. Check if the object recognition camera sensor lens or windshield glass is dirty or scratched. If so, wipe the dirty or scratched area on the lens or glass with a soft cloth.
   NOTE: Be careful when wiping the lens or glass as wiping too strongly may cause scratches.

   OK: There are no dirty areas or scratches that cannot be removed by wiping. 

   HINT:

   If the dirty area or scratches cannot be removed by wiping, replace the object recognition camera sensor or windshield glass.

NG: REPLACE OBJECT RECOGNITION CAMERA SENSOR OR WINDSHIELD GLASS 

OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

1. Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
   1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / PRE-COLLISION 2 / DTC INFO.
   2. Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
2. Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
3. Recheck for DTC.

   OK: DTC C1A24 is not output. 

NG: Go to step 3 

OK: END 

1. Replace the object recognition camera sensor (see ADJUSTMENT ).

1. Adjust the object recognition camera sensor (see ADJUSTMENT ).

1. Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
   1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / PRE-COLLISION 2 / DTC INFO.
   2. Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
2. Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
3. Recheck for DTC.

   OK: DTC C1A24 is not output. 

NG: Go to step 6 

OK: END 

1. Replace the object recognition ECU (see REMOVAL ).

1. Adjust the object recognition camera sensor (see ADJUSTMENT ).

1. Using the Intelligent tester or Techstream, enter the following menus:
   1. Intelligent tester - Select: DIAGNOSIS / OBD/MOBD / PRE-COLLISION 2 / DTC INFO.
   2. Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Code.
2. Select "CLEAR" and clear the data.
3. Recheck for DTC.

   OK: DTC C1A24 is not output. 

NG: REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU  (See REMOVAL )
