Inspection Procedure
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INFRARED RAY SENSOR - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER)

- Disconnect the X13 infrared ray sensor connector.
- Disconnect the L76 air conditioning amplifier connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
INFRARED RAY SENSOR - AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIERTester Connection Condition Specified Condition X13-3(LIN)-L76-28 (LIN1) Always Below 1 Ω X13-3 (LIN) -Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher L76-28(LIN1)-Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- REPLACE INFRARED RAY SENSOR
- Replace the infrared ray sensor with a new or properly functioning one (see REMOVAL ).
- Operate the infrared ray sensor to check that it functions properly.
OK: Infrared ray sensor function operates normally.
