Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (D-IG1-3)
- Remove the D-IG1-3 fuse from the driver side junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance
FUSE (D-IG1-3)Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition D-IG1-3fuse Always Below 1 Ω
NG: REPLACE FUSE
OK: GO TO NEXT STEP
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INFRARED RAY SENSOR - BODY GROUND AND BATTERY)

- Disconnect the X13 infrared ray sensor connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
INFRARED RAY SENSOR - BODY GROUND AND BATTERY RESISTANCETester Connection Condition Specified Condition X13-1 (E) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher - Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
INFRARED RAY SENSOR - BODY GROUND AND BATTERY VOLTAGETester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition X13-5(IG)-Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V Engine switch off Below 1 V
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: REPLACE INFRARED RAY SENSOR (See REMOVAL )
