P0078 Exhaust valve timing control magnet retarder (bank 1) circuit An improper voltage is sent to the ECM via the exhaust valve timing control magnet retarder.
  • Harness or connectors (Exhaust valve timing control magnet retarder circuit is open or shorted.)
