Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY) 
    1. Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
    2. Disconnect the R19 display connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      R30-5 (NTS3) - R19-9 (NTSC) Always Below 1 Ω
      R30-4(SGN3)-R19-10 (SGN1) Always Below 1 Ω
      R30-19(SLDC)-R19-8 (SLD) Always Below 1 Ω
      R30-5 (NTS3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R30-4 (SGN3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      R30-19 (SLDC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
