Inspection Procedure
NOTE:
When replacing the ABS and TRACTION actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration (see
CALIBRATION ).
HINT:
When U0123/62, U0124/95 or U0126/63 is output along with C1210/36 or C1336/39, inspect and repair trouble areas indicated by U0123/62, U0124/95 or U0126/63 first.
- CHECK YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION
- Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor has been installed properly (see
INSPECTION ).
OK:
The sensor is tightened to the specified torque. The sensor is not tilted.
NG: INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR CORRECTLY
OK: Go to next step
- Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor has been installed properly (see
INSPECTION ).
- PERFORM ZERO POINT CALIBRATION OF YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR
- Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (see CALIBRATION ).
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Clear the DTCs (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Start the engine.
- Drive the vehicle and turn the steering wheel to the right and left at a speed of 24 mph (35 km/h) or more.
- Check that the same DTCs are recorded (see
DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
HINT:
Reinstall the sensors, connectors, etc. and restore the vehicle to its prior condition before rechecking for DTCs.
Result
RESULT CHARTDisplay (DTC Output) Proceed To DTCs (C1210/36 and C1336/39) are not output A DTCs (C1210/36 and C1336/39) are output B HINT:
- The DTCs are recorded because zero point calibration has not been completed.
- End the procedure since the same DTCs are not recorded after completion of zero point calibration.
- If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the problem symptoms table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step (see PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
