Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT TRANSFER CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the transfer transmission wire connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RESISTANCE CONDITION TABLE .
Standard resistance

OK: Go To Next Step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TRANSFER TRANSMISSION WIRE TO 4WD CONTROL ECU)
- Disconnect the 4WD control ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE
.
Standard resistance
RESISTANCE SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLETester Connection Specified Condition A32-13 (SLC+) - E54-2 Below 1 ohms A32-32 (SLC-) - E54-1 Below 1 ohms A32-13 (SLC+) - Body ground 10 k ohms or higher A32-32 (SLC-) - Body ground 10 k ohms or higher - Connect the transfer transmission wire connector and 4WD control ECU connector.

A: Go To Next Step: REPLACE 4WD CONTROL ECU
- INSPECT TRANSFER CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY
- Remove the transfer control solenoid assembly (See Step 12 in REMOVAL ).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE .
