Inspection Procedure

1. Inspect continuity of the front door courtesy switch.
   1. Standard: 
   DOOR COURTESY SWITCH CONTINUITY INSPECTION
   
   

   Tester connection	Condition	Specified condition
   1 - Body ground	Free	Continuity
   	Push	No continuity

NG: REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LAMP SWITCH ASSY 

OK: Go To Next Step 

1. Disconnect the D8 front door courtesy switch connector.
2. Disconnect the B6 connector from the driver side J/B.
3. Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.
   1. Standard: 
   TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE
   
   

   Symbols (Terminal No.)	Specified condition
   DCTY (B6-1) <=> D8-1	Continuity

4. Check the continuity between front door courtesy switch connector and the body ground.
   1. Standard: 
   TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE
   
   

   Terminal No.	Specified condition
   D8-1 <=> Body ground	Continuity

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
