Inspection Procedure

  1. Check ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuse. 
    1. NG: Check for short in all the harness and components connected to ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuse, and repair them. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step. 
  2. Check voltage between terminal IG of sliding roof gear assembly with ECU connector and body ground. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Remove sliding roof gear assembly with ECU with connectors being connected.

    CHECK: 

    Measure voltage between terminal IG of sliding roof ECU connector and body ground when ignition switch is ON and OFF. 

    OK: 

    VOLTAGE REFERENCE

    Ignition switch Voltage
    ON 10 - 14 V
    OFF 0 V

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptom table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector between sliding roof gear assembly with ECU and battery.
