Inspection Procedure

1. Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the door unlock detection switch.

   Multiplex network body ECU (Driver door ECU):

OK: 

"ON" (door is unlocked) appears on the screen. 

NG: Go to step 2 

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 

1. w/o Door closer:

   Measure the resistance of the door unlock detection switch.

   Standard:

2. w/ Door closer:

   Measure the resistance of the door unlock detection switch.

   Standard:

   Result:

B: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 

C: REPAIR OR REPLACE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSY LH 

A: Go to next step. 

1. Disconnect the D29 lock and D38 ECU connectors.
2. Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

   Standard:

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
