Section 218 (Rear Power Seat Control System - Diagnosis): Inspection

- INSPECT POWER SEAT MOTOR
- Check operation of the reclining motor.
- Check if the motor rotates smoothly when the battery is connected to the reclining motor connector terminals.
OK: Go to next step.
If the result is not as specified, replace the reclining motor.
- INSPECT POWER SEAT MOTOR
- Check operation of the headrest motor.
- Check if the motor rotates smoothly when the battery is connected to the headrest motor connector terminals.
OK: Go to next step.
If the result is not as specified, replace the headrest motor.
- INSPECT REAR SEAT MEMORY SWITCH LH
- Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
Standard:
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
- INSPECT REAR SEAT MEMORY SWITCH RH
- Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
Standard:
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
- INSPECT VIBRATOR LH
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard:
If the result is not as specified, replace the vibrator.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.
- INSPECT VIBRATOR RH
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard:
If the result is not as specified, replace the vibrator.
- Measure the resistance between the terminals.
