Inspection Procedure

CHECK CONTINUITY OF COMMUNICATION LINE
1. Check the wire harness among the radio receiver amplifier and gateway ECU.

  1. Disconnect the connectors of the gateway ECU and radio receiver assy.
  2. Check the continuity between terminal G3-9 (GTX+) of the gateway ECU vehicle's side connector and terminal R1-3 (TXS+) of the radio receiver assy vehicle's side connector.
    Standard: Continuity
  3. Check the continuity between terminal G3-20 (GTX-) of the gateway ECU vehicle's side connector and terminal R1-6 (TXS-) of the radio receiver assy vehicle's side connector.
    Standard: Continuity
1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
2. OK: Go to next step.
CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSY
1. Inspect the radio receiver assy power source input and body ground. (See TERMINALS OF ECU )
1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE FUSE OR WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
2. OK: Go to next Step.
