Inspection Procedure

USE LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER
1. NO: Go to step 3
2. YES: GO TO NEXT STEP.
READ VALUE OF LEXUS HAND-HELD TESTER
1. Using the hand-held tester, check the remote control switch condition by the data monitor.
  Standard:
  
  DRIVER SIDE J/B (DRIVER SIDE J/B ECU)

1. OK: REPLACE DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK
2. NG: GO TO NEXT STEP
CHECK OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSY
1. Check the continuity between each terminal of the outer mirror switch.
1. Right/Left adjustment switch.

2. Mirror switch.

1. NG: REPLACE OUTER MIRROR SWITCH ASSY
2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP.
CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MIRROR SWITCH - DRIVER SIDE J/B)
1. Disconnect the mirror switch and driver side J/B connectors.
2. Check the continuity between each terminal of the mirror switch vehicle's side connector and the driver side J/B vehicle's side connector (See BOTH OF DRIVER AND PASSENGER POWER MIRRORS CANNOT BE ADJUSTED MANUALLY (FLOW CHART 3) ).
