Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION CAMERA ECU - NAVIGATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the T16 connector from the television camera ECU.
    2. Disconnect the N2 connector from the navigation ECU.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester connection (Terminal No.) Condition Specified condition
      TX+(T16-24) - TX+ (N2-5) Always Below 1 Ω
      TX- (T16-23) - TX- (N2-10) Always Below 1 Ω
      TX+ (T16-24) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TX- (T16-23) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION CAMERA ECU-MULTI-DISPLAY ASSY) 
    1. Disconnect the M4 connector from the multi-display assy.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION CHART

      Tester connection (Terminal No.) Condition Specified condition
      TX+(T16-17) - TX+ (M4-13) Always Below 1 Ω
      TX- (T16-18) - TX- (M4-14) Always Below 1 Ω
      TX+ (T16-17) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      TX- (T16-18) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
