Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step  2.

1. Check clock using hand-held tester. 

   PREPARATION: 

   Connect the hand-held tester to the DLC 3.

   CHECK: 

   Check that the clock will deteriorate its light in an ACTIVE TEST.

   OK: 

   Clock must be deteriorate.

   1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ) 
   2. NG: Go to next step. 
2. Check the clock. (See  CLOCK  ) 
   1. NG: Replace the clock. 
   2. OK: Go to next step. 
3. Check wire harness and connector between clock and Body ECU No. 2, battery and clock. 
   1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
   2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table. (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  )
