Inspection Procedure

  1. Check transponder key coil (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Replace transponder key coil. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector between transponder key amplifier and ECM. 
    1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Does the system operate normally after replacement of transponder key amplifier? 
    1. YES: Replace transponder key amplifier. 
    2. NO: Replace ECM.
