Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE (ECU ACC) 
    1. Remove the ECU ACC fuse from the engine room R/B.
    2. Check for the continuity of ECU ACC fuse.
    1. NG: REPLACE FUSE 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - BATTERY) 
    1. Remove the A/C amplifier assy with connectors being connected.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to the "ACC" position.
    3. Measure the voltage between terminals ACC of the A/C amplifier assy and body ground.

      Standard: 10 to 14 V

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
