Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - SKID CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Check for an open or short circuit in harness and connector between the ECM and the skid control ECU.
    1. NG : REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 
    2. OK : Go to next step. 
  2. REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU), see  REPLACEMENT  or  REPLACEMENT  . 

    HINT:

    • If the problem still occurs after the replacement, replace the ECM.
    • When a malfunction is found in the skid control ECU, replace the brake actuator assembly.
    1. Go To Next Step. 
    2. REPLACE ECM, see  ECM  .
