Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH

    NOTE:
    • Be sure not to apply the battery voltage to terminals 2, 3 and 6 of the power window regulator motor assy LH connector, because it might damage the pulse sensor and the limit switch.
    • Be sure to reset the power window regulator motor assembly (initial position setting of the limit switch) when the power window regulator motor assy LH is installed to the regulator.
    1. When adding the battery voltage to each connector terminal, check that the motor operates smoothly.

    Standard:

    NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH 

    OK: Go to next step. 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS 
    1. Disconnect the D17 power window regulator master switch and P7 power window regulator motor assy LH connectors.

    2. Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.

    Standard:

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
