Inspection Procedure

  1. Check park/Neutral position switch using hand-held tester. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Connect the hand-held tester to DLC 3.

    CHECK: 

    Check that the Park/Neutral position switch operate in DATA LIST (See PRE-CHECK ).

    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector between park/neutral position switch and Body ECU (Main) (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE  ).
