Fuel Cutoff Valve & Fill Check Valve

  1. Ensure fuel tank is full. Disconnect purge line hose and EVAP line hose from charcoal canister. Plug cap to air drain hose.
  2. Pressurize purge port to .58 psi (4 kPa) and check that there is air through EVAP line hose. See Fig 1.
  3. Check vent line hose and EVAP line hose for blockage. If clear, replace fuel cutoff valve and fill check valve.
  4. Reconnect purge line hose and EVAP line hose to charcoal canister.
