Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step 1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step 2.

Check unlock detection switch using hand-held tester.
PREPARATION:

Connect the hand-held tester to DLC 3.

CHECK:

Check that the unlock detection switch operate in DATA LIST (See PRE-CHECK ).
1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE ).
2. NG: Go to next step
Check the door unlock detection switch (See INSPECTION ).
1. NG : Replace the door lock motor.
2. OK : GO TO NEXT STEP
Check wire harness and connector between unlock detection switch and Body ECU (Main), power window master switch (See HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
1. NG : Repair or replace wire harness or connector.
2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptoms table (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
