Inspection Procedure

- Cleaning IR Receiver Sensor
- Clean up the infrared light emission part.
- Clean up the infrared light emission part of the stereo component control.
- Check if the same abnormality occurs again.
Standard: Function return to normal condition.
- OK: IR Receiver Dirty
- NG: Go To Next Step
- Clean up the infrared light emission part.
- Check Battery (Remote Controller Assembly)
- Check the dry cell battery.
- Check that the dry cell battery is not used up.
Standard: The dry cell battery is not used up.
- NG: Battery Empty
- OK: Go To Next Step
- Check the dry cell battery.
- Inspect Harness Or Connector (Radio Receiver Assembly - Stereo Component Controller)
- Check that the continuity between terminals at each condition, as shown in Fig 2.
Standard:
- NG: Repair Or Replace Harness Of Connector
- OK: Go To Next Step
- Check that the continuity between terminals at each condition, as shown in Fig 2.
- Check Stereo Component Controller Assembly (+B, ACC, GND)
- Check that the continuity between terminals at each condition, as shown in Fig 4.

Standard:
- Check that the voltage between terminals at each condition, as shown in Fig 5.
Standard:
- NG: Repair Or Replace Harness Or Connector
- OK: Check And Replace Stereo Component Controller Assembly
- Check that the continuity between terminals at each condition, as shown in Fig 4.
