Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIMIT SWITCH CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the D17 power window regulator master switch and P7 power window regulator motor assy LH connectors.
    2. Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.

      Standard: 

      CONTINUITY BETWEEN DISCONNECTED CONNECTORS

      Symbols (Terminal No.)
      (Switch <==> Motor)      		 Specified condition
      LMT <==> LMT (D17-5 <==> P7-2) Continuity
      SGND <==> E (D17-13 <==> P7-3) Continuity

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (PULSE SENSOR CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the D17 power window regulator master switch and P7 power window regulator motor assy LH connectors.
    2. Check the continuity between the disconnected connectors.

      Standard: 

      CONTINUITY BETWEEN DISCONNECTED CONNECTORS

      Symbols (Terminal No.)
      (Switch <==> Motor)      		 Specified condition
      PLS <==> PLS (D17-15 <==> P7-6) Continuity
      SGND <==> E (D17-13 <==> P7-3) Continuity

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSY LH 
    1. Replace the power window regulator motor assy LH.
    2. Check the power window operation.
    1. OK: END 
    2. NG: REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSY
