Inspection Procedure

  1. Check LH SEAT fuse. 
    1. NG: Check for short in all the harness and components connected to the LH SEAT fuse, and repair them. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  2. Check continuity between terminal E, SGND of Power Seat Control ECU connector and body ground. 

    CHECK: 

    Measure resistance between terminal E, SGND of Power Seat Control ECU connector and body ground with connector being connected.

    OK: 

    1. Resistance: Continuity (below 1 Ω)

    1. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Go to Next Step 
  3. Check voltage between terminal B of Power Seat Control ECU connector and body ground. 

    CHECK: 

    Measure voltage between terminal B of Power Seat Control ECU connector and body ground with connector being connected.

    OK: 

    1. Voltage: 10 - 14 V

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on problem symptom table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ). 
    2. NG: Repair or replace harness or connector.
