Inspection Procedure

  1. Check the door lock function. Check all the doors can lock and unlock when the driver's door lock cylinder is operated via the key. If the results are OK, go to the next step. If the results are not good, go to POWER DOOR LOCKS, TRUNK LID & FUEL DOOR RELEASE - ES 300 article in DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS.
  2. Check that the power window operates via each regulator switch. If the driver's door is not operated, go to DTC B1221: DRIVER'S DOOR POWER WINDOW ACTIVE TEST  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If the passenger's door is not operated, go to DTC B1223: PASSENGER'S DOOR POWER WINDOW ACTIVE TEST  under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If the left hand rear door is not operated, go to POWER WINDOW ACTIVE TEST (LH REAR DOOR)  under COMPONENT TESTS. If the right hand rear door is not operated, go to POWER WINDOW ACTIVE TEST (RH REAR DOOR)  under COMPONENT TESTS.
  3. Check that the other power window operates via the remote operation of the master switch. If the results are OK, replace the power window regulator master switch assembly. See POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If the results are not good, go to REMOTE CONTROL POWER WINDOW REGULATOR BY MASTER SWITCH  under COMPONENT TESTS.
