Diagnosis & Repair

Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of DLC1 or DLC2. See Figure. If 10-14 volts exists, circuits are okay. Connect a fused jumper wire or Service Connector (SST 09843-18020) between DLC1 or DLC2 terminals Tc and E1. Check ABS warning light. If ABS warning light does not blink, ABS ECU may be faulty. If 10-14 volts does not exist, check for open or short circuit in wiring harness between ABS ECU, DLC1 or DLC2, and between DLC1 or DLC2 and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring harness is okay, replace ABS ECU.
