Circuit Description

EGR valve position sensor is mounted on EGR valve and monitors EGR valve pintle position. EGR valve pintle position is dependent upon engine operating conditions. DTC P1411 is set if engine coolant temperature is less than 131°F (55°C) and ECM EGLS circuit detects a reading of less than .35 volts, or 1.65 volts or more, for 7 seconds or more.
