Parking Brake Switch Input Signal Check

Perform INPUT SIGNAL CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING. When parking brake pedal or lever is applied, indicator light should go off. If indicator light functions as described, go to next inspection item shown on matrix chart. See Figure. If indicator light does not function as described, go to PARKING BRAKE CIRCUIT VOLTAGE CHECK.
