Fuel Pressure Control

When starting engine at high temperature, the ECU switches on a Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV) to draw atmospheric pressure into the diaphragm chamber of the fuel pressure regulator. This causes fuel pressure to increase preventing fuel vapor lock and helping engine start-up.
