ISSUE

The software download of the Occupants Classification Module (OCS) has the potential to fail. Attempting the software download may leave the module in a state where the module is left without software.

The following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is stored within the Restraints Control Module (RCM):

B00A0-87 Occupant Classification System - Missing Message

CAUSE

The cause of this concern is currently under investigation.

ACTION

Do not attempt to update the software on the OCS module until further notice.

If the software download has already been attempted and the symptoms match the issue description, raise a Technical Assistance (TA) request. Your local technical support team will provide further information.
