Step 1

If an ECT dependent after start timer has expired and the radiator outlet temperature is within a tunable threshold of the ECT, then a fault exists.

If step 1 is completed without a fault and over run fuel cut off has not been present for more than a certain length of time, then the diagnostic passes to step 2, otherwise the diagnostic is ended.
