Wheel Speed Sensor & Exciter Ring

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2000 Land Rover Discovery and 1999 Land Rover Discovery. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

There is a wheel speed sensor and a toothed exciter ring located at each wheel. Front exciter ring is located inside each front hub assembly next to the constant velocity joint. Rear exciter ring is inside axle next to wheel bearing assembly.
