LIMITED MOVEMENT OF AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL

The customer may complain that the air temperature control knob does not rotate completely to the maximum or minimum position. If turned to the maximum or minimum position the heater control(s) may return slightly (bounce) when released. The cause for this symptom can be that the heater control cable is positioned incorrectly within the cable retention clips.

RESOLUTION:

POSITION CABLE RETAINING CLIPS

To resolve a customer complaint regarding heater air temperature control operation that do not exhibit a full range of motion, follow the procedure outlined in this bulletin to correctly position either the left or right hand heater control cable within the cable retention clip.
