Spark Plug Inspection

  1. Refer to "SPARK PLUG " and visually and/or physically inspect following conditions;
    • Damaged insulation, worn electrodes, oil or fuel fouled, loose terminals and cracks.
  2. Measure the electrode gap.

    Specification:  Approx. 0.8 to 0.9 mm (0.0314 to 0.0354 in)

  3. Measure the insulation resistance with an multimeter.

    Specification:  Approx. 10MΩ or more

  4. Has any problems been found?

    Good 

    No Good
