DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check during shift of lambda setpoint to rich or lean (after P2096/P2097 detection)
  • Poor connector connection
  • Rear HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • No fuel cut-off
  • No full load phase
  • No catalyst overheating protection
  • Battery voltage is at between 11 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Rear HO2S signal is lower than 0.75V when lambda set point is equal 0.80V
  • Downstream O2 sensor signal too low
Diagnostic Time
  • 7s after lambda set point shift to corresponding side
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
