DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause

  • Signal diagnosis
  • Open or short in ambient air temperature sensor circuit
Enable Condition
  • Ignition key On
  • HAVAC (FATC) is valid
Threshold Value
  • Air conditioner module sends "FF" as ambient air temperature on CAN ("FF" means ambient air temperature circuit is short or open-circuit)
Diagnostic Time
  • 1s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
