DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal check, low
  • Poor connector connection
  • Signal circuit short to ground
  • ECTS

Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 6V and lower than 16V
Threshold Value
  • ECT sensor voltage is lower than 0.08V
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously (2.5s/recurrence 100 ms)
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
