SRS Control Module (SRSCM): Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
    NOTE: After disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, wait at least 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
  2. Remove the floor console assembly.

    (Refer to Body - " FLOOR CONSOLE ASSEMBLY  ") 

  3. Remove the rear air duct (A).

  4. Disconnect the supplemental restraint system control module connectors (A) by pulling the connector lock lever.

  5. Remove the supplemental restraint system control module (A) after removing the bolts.

    Tightening torque: 

    10.8 - 13.7 N.m (1.1 - 1.4 kgf.m, 8.0 - 10.1 lb.ft)

NOTE: Do not damage the Supplemental Restraint System Control Module (SRSCM) connector.
