DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check on rationality
  • Poor connector connection
  • CVVD motor circuit
  • CVVD motor
Enable Conditions
  • ECT (Between -15°C and 140°C) (5 and 284°F)
  • Engine speed (Between 1000 RPM and 5000 RPM)
  • Normal 12V battery voltage (10 to 16V)
  • Difference CVVD between actual and target is higher than 12°
  • Accumulated crankshaft is higher than 200 revolution
Threshold Value
  • When below conditions would be detected 5 times
    1. Difference angle between actual and target is higher than 3°
    2. After (A) condition, maximum angle variation is lower than 3° for 2.5s
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
