DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the circuit
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short circuit
  • EOTS
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
  • 12V battery voltage is between 10 and 16V
  • Engine oil temperature below 120°C (248°F)
Threshold Value
  • When oil temperature sensor output voltage is lower than 0.04V
Diagnostic Time
  • 2s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
