Check Monitor Quality
CAUTION:
- Verify the vehicle has a genuine Kia camera installed because the monitor output quality could be poor or have functioning problem due to aftermarket camera installed.
- Warranty is voided if camera lens is cleaned with none approved Kia cleaners.
Information
- Must use water or clean cloth to clean the exterior of camera lens.
- Verify if the same condition is still present after cleaning the camera lens and removing debris.
- The cleaners with high concentration of acidic cleaners can cause the lens coating to come off, careful inspection is necessary.
- Road debris such as pebbles can cause the camera lens to crack, careful inspection is necessary.

- Red light displayed caused by rear tail lamp illumination.
- The red light that comes out of rear tail lamp illuminates into the rear camera lens creating this red light effect.
