[Fuel Pump Motor]

  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the fuel pump assembly.

    (Refer to Fuel Pump Module - "Removal  ")

  3. Connect the fuel pump connector.
  4. Connect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  5. Activate the fuel pump by turning the ignition switch ON or starting the engine at no load condition.
CAUTION:
  • Fuel pump overheating can cause the fuel pump failure. activating time should not exceed 3 seconds.
  • Once the fuel pump activated, fuel may spread out to the vehicle side due to residual fuel.

Make sure that the fuel outlet is directed toward the fuel tank
