DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check the ELCM pressure of reference orifice
  • EVAP system
  • PSCV
  • Fuel system
  • Canister
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "OFF"
  • No refueling during diagnosis
  • Ambient air pressure is greater than 75 kPa
  • Engine off time is higher than 5 hours
  • Modeled ambient air temperature is between 0 to 40°C (32 to 104°F)
  • Intake air temperature is lower than 60°C (140°F)
  • Fuel Tank Level is lower than 85%
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold Value
  • At the first check, the ELCM pressure orifice value is greater than between 4.09 to 4.27 kPa (Change according to barometric)
  • At the second check, the ELCM pressure orifice value is greater than between 4.85 to 5.03 kPa (Change according to barometric)
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
