Front Camera: Removal
WARNING:
- When working on the high voltage system, the work should be performed by technicians who have completed the relevant training. A lack of understanding of the high voltage system can lead to serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- When working on the high voltage system or related components, be sure to observe and be aware of the "HIGH VOLTAGE SYSTEM GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION AND CAUTION ". If not, it may cause serious accidents due to electric shock or short circuit.
- Before removing the front camera, check the system identification first using the KDS.

Refer to the KDS screen for operating conditions and details
- Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal and the service interlock connector.
- Remove the upper battery cover (A) after rotating valve in the direction of the arrow.
- Disconnect the auxiliary 12 V negative (-) battery terminal (A) after loosening the nut.
Tightening torque :
7.8 - 9.8 N.m (0.8 - 1.0 kgf.m, 5.8 - 7.2 lb.ft)
- Remove the engine room junction box cover (A).
- Disconnect the service interlock connector (A).WARNING: Wait more than 3 minutes for capacitor in the inverter to be discharged completely after disconnecting the high voltage service interlock connector.NOTE: The high voltage service interlock connector cannot be completely removed.
- Remove the upper battery cover (A) after rotating valve in the direction of the arrow.
- Remove the multi sensor blanking cover (A).

- Disconnect the front camera connector (A).
- Remove the front camera (B) by pulling both hooks (A).NOTE: When removing the fixed hooks (A) be careful not to damage it.
