Active Fault
- Check if the reprogramming has proceeded to an unauthorized ROM and if the data has been tampered with.
- If the problem persists, replace the SCU and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
* If replacing the SCU, carry out the "Vehicle S/W Management" procedure.
History/Pending Fault
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or SCU connector or was repaired and SCU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and Go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
