Repair Procedures: Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE:
    • When installing the CVVD actuator, insert dowel pin (B) certainly into the cam carrier hole after inserting the shaft (A).

    • Tighten the bolts in the following order.
      1. Lightly tighten the bolt (A).
      2. Tighten the bolt (B) to the specified torque.
      3. Tighten the bolt (C) to the specified torque.
      4. Tighten the bolt (A) to the specified torque.

  2. Perform the "CVVD Intake Adaptation" after replacing the CVVD actuator.
